To create a fluid painting, a technique called a Dirty Pour may be used. That's when you pour different colors into the same cup but don't mix the paint completely before pouring. Sometimes the paint in the cup is every bit as interesting as the painting itself (or more so LOL)!

It's that time of year again when it's mostly cleaning, cooking and shopping and very little time for art. So, when a painting turns out well, I am thrilled that time spent was productive! This may be the last piece until after the holiday weekend.
My daughter calls this painting "Lavender Scent". I loved it and was happy to have a name suggestion. Coming up with painting titles is difficult sometimes.
It's sort of hard to see, so I've posted it sideways... which could also be considered right side up. (Modern art is so subjective.)
